WHAT WE LOOK LIKE

I started Kingmakers in 2005 and became a business consultant after a 20 year career in the Financial Services sector, working for product providers and Independent Financial Adviser firms of all shapes and sizes. My depth and breadth of experience, coupled with a no nonsense approach to business, mean that I am able to add value at both strategic and operational levels within any business. I live just outside Tunbridge Wells in Kent, with my wife Alli and our two children, Ella and Riley. I'm a good listener, pretty quick on the uptake, a strategic thinker and good in a crisis. I started in Financial Services way back in 1981, when the figures on illustrations were telephone numbers and regulation a pipe dream. I set up my own IFA practice in the late 80s and merged with a larger practice in the early 90s. By 2005 I’d had enough. I sold up and leapt into the big unknown – the wide world outside Financial Services. So why join Rob at Kingmakers? Well apart from being “a nice chap”, I worked with Rob in Kingmakers formative days and I am seriously impressed with how he has developed the business in a relatively short time scale. What can I bring to the party? Apart from years of experience in Financial Services, I have spent the last 4 years establishing a business in the Marine Industry, which I am delighted to say is starting to bear some fruit. I have also found the time to help a chum restructure and run his Courier Company. I'm a designer and art director and my creations are based on strong ideas, thoughtful interpretation and clear communication. My experience in branding and brand management marry commercial awareness with creative flair. I bring intelligent and elegant solutions to bear which are always thought provoking and memorable.
